Children’s Ministry

Building your child’s strong faith foundation can be tough – but we are here to help! 

Our children’s ministry partners with families to help grow and nurture the faith of your child through all the stages of their life.

We believe teaching your child about Jesus in a fun, hands on learning active way allows them to see God in action each week.  We stress missions throughout the year where they can make a difference in the lives of others, and together with our Children’s ministry team the Bible stories they read are not just accounts of the past, but can be applied to their lives today!

It is a joy for children, youth and adults alike, and we invite you and your family to join us in one of our Christian Education Programs offered throughout the year!

CRIB ROOM - care is offered by adults and assisted by high school students each Sunday morning for infants through 3 years of age.

CHILDREN AND YOUTH SUNDAY SCHOOL

We offer programs for pre-school age children through High School youth.  Each class is taught by adults and teens and we are guided by a "safe church" policy throughout our building.  All our teachers and youth advisors and staff are cori safe through the State of MA.

Special events are held throughout the year - including a Christmas Eve service/pageant, Advent workshop, Lenten Activities, movie nights, mission projects and more!

CONFIRMATION- is offered for youth grades 8-9 - with Confirmation being held in May during their 9th grade.  Confirmation is a service based program shared by our Reverend and the Deacons. 

FIRST COMMUNION - Children in the third grade receive their first Communion as well as their third grade Bibles

SAFE CHURCH POLICY - Union Congregational has a "safe church policy" which may be picked up in the church office, and all our teachers and youth ministry team have been Cori checked through the state.
